Home at Eleven

We’ve had a particular fascination with the printed word for many years now, and as much as we love the gorgeous iPad, nothing can quite replace the beauty of books.

It could be just us, but what joy it brings to take a moment to imagine where they have been, and come from, who may have languished within those elegant typographic pages - books loved, lost and found.

Of all the many millions of books waiting to be rediscovered, we can’t help but have a soft spot for these brightly coloured orange and faded white Penguins.

We’re lucky enough to live on the doorstep of some seriously good Penguin hunting grounds, and on a rainy day, spending an indulgent hour searching through shelves and shelves for them is a real treat.

There is a problem though, once on the Eleven Library shelves, their beauty is a little hidden, however, we’ve got an idea…
